Briefing And Research Attorney

Job Overview:A law firm in Irving, TX, is seeking a diligent and highly motivated Briefing and Research Attorney to assist in preparing personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role is critical in supporting the trial attorney through various case preparation and litigation stages.Key Responsibilities:Assist the trial attorney in preparing personal injury cases for litigation.Draft and review discovery requests and responses, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Prepare and draft legal pleadings, motions, and responses to motions.Conduct legal research to support case strategy, deposition preparation, and trial planning.Provide trial support, including the preparation of materials and assistance during proceedings.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive case management.Maintained and managed legal documentation and case files with attention to detail.Participate in depositions by preparing and researching relevant legal precedents.Contribute to the development of case strategies and legal arguments.Provide after-hours on-call support when necessary.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Licensed attorney in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.0-3 years of experience in personal injury law.Demonstrated excellence in legal writing and research.Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred.Availability for after-hours on-call duties.Skills:Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills.Strong research abilities with a focus on personal injury law.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree.Certifications:Must be a licensed attorney in Texas and good standing.Location:Irving, TXMedical insurance with 80% employer contribution.Dental, Vision, Life, and other supplemental insurance options.A 401K plan with an employer matches up to 4%.Employee recognition programs.Complimentary gym membership.Participation in company events, including community service initiatives.Company infoBCG Attorney Search10777 Westheimer, Suite 1100HoustonTexasUnited States 77042Phone :
