Job Overview:
A law firm in Irving, TX, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will handle a diverse caseload involving personal injury cases, manage staff, and actively participate in all aspects of litigation from inception through trial.Duties:Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda.Manage a docket of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle collisions and premise liability.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.Attend court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.Supervise and mentor paralegals and legal assistants.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Texas State Bar and in good standing.Litigation experience, preferably in personal injury.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.Certifications:Certification in Personal Injury Law (preferred).Skills:Proficiency in legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).Knowledge of civil procedure and litigation process.Team player with strong interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Paid vacation, all-purpose leave, and holidays.401(k) plan with 4% match and immediate vesting.Medical insurance with 80% employer contribution.Dental, vision, and supplemental insurance options.Career growth opportunities and employee recognition programs.Gym membership and company events.Company infoBCG Attorney Search10777 Westheimer, Suite 1100HoustonTexasUnited States 77042Phone :
