A law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in handling personal injury cases, from motor vehicle collisions to premises liability. This role involves managing a docket of cases, engaging in all phases of litigation, and overseeing a dedicated staff. The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package and numerous career growth and development opportunities.Job Responsibilities:File petitions and manage case initiation procedures.Conduct and engage in discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions.Handle depositions, both taking and defending, effectively.Attend and represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials.Manage and lead a dedicated staff team, ensuring efficient case progression.Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and legal advice.Develop and implement case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.Participate in settlement negotiations and draft settlement agreements.Maintain detailed and accurate case files and documentation.Stay updated on relevant laws and legal precedents to ensure effective advocacy.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the Texas State Bar.Experience in personal injury litigation.Proven track record of managing personal injury cases from inception to resolution.Strong understanding of Texas personal injury law, including motor vehicle collisions and premises liability.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in legal research and use of case management software.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in good standing with the Texas State Bar.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.Proficient in legal research tools and case management software.Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks effectively.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Job Location:Benefits Offered:Paid vacation, all-purpose leave, and holidays.401(k) plan with a 4% match and immediate vesting.Medical insurance with 80% employer contribution.Dental, vision, and supplemental insurance available.Employee Recognition Programs.Company events, including community service activities.Company infoBCG Attorney Search10777 Westheimer, Suite 1100HoustonTexasUnited States 77042Phone :
