Job Overview:
A law firm in Austin, TX, is seeking a highly motivated Litigation Intake Associate Attorney to join their dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for signing up new clients, developing assigned matters, analyzing legal issues specific to each case, reviewing demands, negotiating on behalf of clients, initiating litigation, resolving concerns, and disbursing client funds. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual with 0-3 years of personal injury experience licensed in Texas and good standing. Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.Job Responsibilities:Sign up new clients and manage initial client interactions.Develop assigned legal matters from inception to resolution.Analyze legal issues specific to each case and provide strategic advice.Review demands and prepare negotiation strategies on behalf of clients.Initiate and conduct litigation processes, including filing and handling court appearances.Resolve matters through negotiation, mediation, or trial as appropriate.Disburse client funds by settlements or judgments.Maintain detailed and organized client files and legal documents.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure the best outcomes for clients.Stay current on legal trends and developments relevant to personal injury law.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Must be licensed to practice law in Texas and good standing with the state bar.0-3 years of experience in personal injury law.Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.High level of professionalism and ethical standards.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active Texas Bar license in good standing.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing.Strong negotiation and mediation skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent interpersonal and client relations skills.Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Benefits Offered:Paid vacation, all-purpose leave, and holidays.401(k) plan with a 4% match and immediate vesting.Medical insurance with 80% employer contribution.Dental, vision, and supplemental insurance available.Employee Recognition Programs.Participation in company events, including community service.Company infoBCG Attorney Search10777 Westheimer, Suite 1100HoustonTexasUnited States 77042Phone :
