Prestige Legal Solutions, P.C. is a full-service lemon law firm based in Los Angeles. Our law office represents California clients who have been sold a defective vehicle that qualifies as a lemon.
Prestige Legal Solutions is seeking a Legal Assistant with previous legal experience, preferably in lemon law. This is a full-time, salaried position, with the responsibility of managing tasks and activities as assigned and required by the Managing Attorney and their assigned Paralegal and/or attorney.
Responsibilities include:
Litigation assistance experience
Drafting, filing, and serving complaints
Communicating with clients
Collecting, updating, processing, and organizing client evidence in e-files/hard files
Preparing filings for the court (State/Federal)
Saving documents in the client’s folder
Calendaring
Processing and scanning all mail
Collecting documents and other items as directed by the legal team
Communicating as necessary with any vendors for client cases (courts, attorneys, opposing counsel, etc.)
Assisting Paralegals as needed
Assisting Attorneys as needed
Verifying all cases in CRM software are up to date and have been followed up
Assuring all workflow is being processed timely and accurately
Other job duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
Previous administrative experience supporting a legal team
Demonstrated ability to support multiple professionals simultaneously, effectively balancing priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Solid general computer and internet research skills
Skilled in redlining, drafting, and revising legal documents and correspondence
Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, proficient proofreading abilities, and effective multitasking capabilities
Unwavering reliability in handling highly confidential and sensitive information
Possesses a highly professional demeanor, maintains a positive outlook, and exhibits a can-do attitude
Willingness to learn and a genuine desire to be truly helpful to executives and co-workers
