Our law firm specializes in Lemon Law Litigation and has a track record of securing verdicts and settlements for a range of defects including engines, batteries, motors, shaking, brakes, and misalignments. We offer a collaborative and supportive work environment for attorneys who are interested in taking on well-known auto manufacturers.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:Have a demonstrated passion for protecting consumer rights, strong legal research and writing skills, and a track record of success in litigation.Have heavy involvement in motions, depositions, and trials.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Advise clients on their rights under state and federal lemon laws.Evaluate cases to determine eligibility for lemon law claims.Prepare and file legal documents, including demand letters, complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.Conduct legal research and draft persuasive legal memoranda.Represent clients in negotiations with manufacturers and dealerships.Take and defend depositions.Litigate cases through pre-trial, and potential appeals.Maintain case files and keep clients up-to-date on the status of their cases.QUALIFICATIONS:J.D. from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in the state of California.1-3+ years of experience in civil litigation, with a preference for experience in consumer law but not required.Deep understanding of state and federal lemon laws.Superior legal research and writing skills.Excellent courtroom advocacy and negotiation skills.Strong client service orientation.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:Compensation: $100,000 - $160,000Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and 401(k) plan.Paid time off (PTO)Opportunity for professional development support.ADDITIONAL FIRM INSIGHT:Partner Track OfferedThe firm is big on vertical promotions.10+ Attorney Size FirmOver $500 Million recovered against major auto manufacturers.Over 10 Offices throughout California.LOCATION:Los Angeles, California (90015)On-Site
