The role offers flexibility for some remote work.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Litigation Medical Paralegal at Kienle Law. The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for managing, controlling and implementing the firm's medical and billing records secured by subpoena. The position involves daily interaction with subpoena vendors, reviewing and summarizing critical information from records in spreadsheets and medical chronologies. The position also involves legal document preparation, document review, legal research, drafting pleadings, and motions. The role is primarily located in San Juan Capistrano, CA, with flexibility for some remote work.QualificationsLegal Document Preparation, Document Review, and Legal Research skillsExperience in medical and other subpoena management, medical and billing record management and summarizing same for medical chronologiesExperience with civil discovery procedures for depositions, expert discovery and trialExperience preparing attorneys for trial both in adhering to trial related deadlines, preparing trial binders and understanding defense related trial and jury instructionsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentProficiency in legal technology and softwareExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAssociate's degree or certification in Paralegal StudiesExperience in personal injury or OSHA defense is a plus
