We are looking for talented engineering professionals to help Fire TV become the global leader in entertainment with the best experience for customers and partners and the broadest selection of Live content and services.In this role, you will work with a team of engineers building Linear and Sports CX for Fire TV. A successful candidate will have strong technical ability, excellent project management skills, great communication skills, and motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.The role is inherently cross-functional:

you will work closely with a high-energy team of software engineers, product managers, marketers, customer service leads, as well as external partners (including device manufacturers, brands, and retailers).We are looking for someone with a rich background in Catalog and Live Events, with deep customer focus, as well as a passion for making timely, well-founded data-driven decisions possible.Key Job Responsibilities:Work with Product managers and SDMs to develop new components needed for Linear and Sports CX to deliver multiple device launches.Dive deep into technical challenges related to scalability, reliability, and performance of the middleware components to work across multiple partners.Deliver critical programs across many teams to create best-in-class Sports experiences for our customers.Contribute to the design and implementation of features on Fire TV devices spanning all types (TVs, Sticks, Cubes, etc.), focusing on constantly improving the daily experience of millions of customers.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.This position will remain posted until filled.
