We are looking for an experienced Private Equity/Commercial Due Diligence professional to help expand our newly established Transaction Services and Private Equity (TSPE) US practice together with the global TSPE Partner and our local Partners. This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing Transaction Services Team at Simon-Kucher. The TSPE practice aims to expand existing PE-client relationships with an additional service offering. Simon-Kucher’s TSPE practice advises private equity funds and strategic investors both pre- and post-deal, across industries.

How you will create an impact:

Responsibility for building out the current US TSPE practice.

Advisory of private equity funds and strategic investors on transactions with a key focus on commercial due diligence.

Driving development of existing methodology and managing client delivery independently.

Collaboration with TSPE global partner and local partners.

Development and management of local consultants’ team.

Cultivate trusted client relationships and develop project proposals.

Lead and guide a team of junior consultants to develop actionable insights.

Effectively manage multiple engagements and project teams concurrently.

Contribute to practice priorities and identify new business opportunities.

Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to our clients' businesses.

Your profile:

Outstanding drive, determination, and desire to be part of a growing consulting firm.

Minimum 10+ years relevant professional experience in transaction/private-equity/commercial due diligence.

An undergraduate degree is required; advanced degree is optional.

Ability to deliver CDD engagements with expertise in the Industrials sector.

Entrepreneurial drive and ability to lead a consulting team.

Proven track record in acquiring and leading CDDs.

Excellent communication and persuasion skills.

Team player with effective presentation abilities.

Record of managing multiple engagements within tight project timelines.

Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to travel at least 25% of the time.

The pay range for this position in New York is $260,000-$275,000/year. Compensation may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs.
