is seeking a
Senior Cyber Security Engineer (Info. Systems and Cyber Security, Associate)
to serve as the Senior Engineer for NAWCAD MLS efforts and assist in delivering services to a Federal Government client and eventually other Agency components by managing the development of an MLS aware software programs. This position is based out of one of our Lexington Park, MD locations.
This position may be eligible for some remote work depending on contract client and hiring manager approval.
Responsibilities
Assist in managing a team of high caliber cyber and IT professionals
Lead, manage and coordinate cybersecurity through all phases of the system development life cycle, including planning, requirements analysis, design, development, testing and evaluation, and implementation
Perform analysis of complex functions and requirements
Ensure conformance with appropriate and applicable policies and regulation
Support development of logical and physical solutions for the implementation of cybersecurity
Review and prepare documents and presentations
Develop and deliver consistent, high quality cyber services and products
Provide a quality assurance check on delivered services and products
Travel
Total travel is expected to be approximately 10% to CONUS sites
Required Qualifications
8 years in a related field leading, managing and coordinating cybersecurity through all phases of the system development life cycle, including planning, requirements analysis, design, development, testing and evaluation, and implementation
Familiarity with NSA’s NCDSMO Raise the Bar (RTB) guidelines
Experience with CDS and MLS solutions
DoD Cyber Security Workforce qualification
Knowledge of DoD 8510.10 Risk Management Framework
Understanding cybersecurity inter-relationships of DoD Programs of Records and sub-elements (i.e., maintenance, logistics, system engineering, test & evaluation, etc.)
Very good verbal and written communication skills
Very good organization skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a scientific or mathematics-intensive discipline
Top Secret/SCI clearance
CISSP certification
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a scientific or mathematics-intensive discipline
Clearance

clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a
Top-Secret
