Position: Chief Financial Officer.

Company Name: AiLO Logistics.FLSA Status for Employee: Exempt.Position Type: Full-Time.Location: Glendale, CA (Office On-site).

Salary Range: $260,000 - $380,000.

Position Summary:

As a key member of the Executive Management team, the Chief Financial Officer will report to the CEO and President of the Company and assume a strategic role in the management of the company. The CFO will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of financial excellence, fiscal integrity, and stewardship of resources.

Essential Job Functions:

Oversee finance and accounting as well as broader business matters and report to leadership on the fiscal management including banking, compliance, registrations and filings, tax returns, and investments.

Prepare the annual budget for review and approval by the executive team.

Develop accounting procedures and systems and monitors all accounting practices to ensure they meet federal, state, county, and other funding/contract guidelines.

Supervise the preparation for the annual and periodic internal, government, and other fiscal audits of the organization’s financial position; implement and respond to any findings should there be any.

Collaborate with senior leaders on operational and strategic issues as they arise; provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections, and revenue/expense analysis.

Monitor and report on cash flow and budget spending.

Work on developing financial and tax strategies with owners/CPA for maximum tax benefits.

Manage specific short-term and long-term plans and programs, together with supporting budget requests and financial estimates.

Work to support additional business ventures in needed capacity.

Prepare and oversee financial budgeting; provide monthly analysis of the budget which highlights any discrepancies and financial trends.

Oversee the Accounting Department to optimize business support and all aspects of finance and accounting functions of the entities.

Direct all monthly and annual accounting operations including monthly financial reporting (including financial data analysis and key performance indicators), forecasting (including tracking progress against forecast)

Oversee the financial operations of company and its sister companies.

Oversee and guide the streamlining and improving monthly financial reporting systems including potential upgrading financial accounting software and integration into operating system.

Establish metrics and KPIs that influence actions necessary to continually strengthen the financial performance of the organization.

Produce monthly financial analysis on performance.

Learn the USPS bidding process and contribute to increase of market share.

Produce cost control reports, cost estimates, USPS bids and manpower and facilities requirements, forecasts each contract for upcoming performance.

Coordinate and collaborate with other departments of the corporation in establishing and carrying out responsibilities. Work closely with the executive team to run a result driven organization.

Ensures that cost-effective internal business and accounting controls are in place and operating effectively to safeguard the assets and integrity of the organization.

Manage the setting of budgets throughout the company and in every department.

Compile monthly financial reporting for the owners.

Lead the Accounting Department in devising audited financials as needed.

Oversee on a quarterly basis the validation of entity debt covenants.

Report risk issues to the executive team.

Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.

Oversee annual insurance audit processes.

Oversee overall cash movement between sister entities. Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts.

Foster existing bank relationships. Establish new banking relationships for better rates and opportunities.

Conduct due diligence and integration of new business acquisitions.

Work with the designated team on large contracts and other legal issues.

Continuously engaging in cost saving opportunities.

Required Skills and Competencies:

Practical experience with NetSuite (ERP) system is required.

Experience in logistics or transportation is preferred.

Leadership skills with the ability to delegate, motivate and inspire team members.

Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Strong knowledge of fiscal management, government regulations, and accounting software.

Excellent computer skills including, but not limited to all Microsoft Suite products, including Excel and Word.

Proven experience with creating and implementing budgets, financial modeling, and best practices across departments.

Proven experience with P&L creation, implementation, and analysis.

Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team and navigate complex decision making.

Great at managing multiple tasks and getting things done in a fast-paced environment.

Required Education and Experience:

Experience in a financial leadership role for 6+ years.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a similar field is required.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.

Relevant certifications desired.

Experience in the transportation and/or logistics industry is desired.

Pay:

The pay is competitive, depending on experience ($260,000 - $380,000) and will be discussed during an in-person interview.
