DATA SENIOR ANALYST
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?The Senior Data Analyst works within the Residential Lending Technology organization to meet the data integration and reporting objectives across Residential Lending. The Senior Data Analyst will guide and lead end-to-end processes, standards, and guidelines to ensure accurate and efficient data delivery of tasks and projects.What you will doLead data analysis via data discovery, exploration, investigation, and impact assessments. Apply best practices and illustrate understanding via data flows of systems and processes.Conduct and lead data mapping in coordination with business and vendor to document data mapping requirements.Validate data by verifying against requirements and success criteria.Lead understanding by researching business processes and documenting inconsistent and incomplete data, value misinterpretations, and misclassified data.Identify the appropriate data sources and map the data from source to target which may include Files (CSV, XML, etc.), Databases, and/or APIs.Guide integration across data sources and targets which may include multiple vendors.Perform one or more of the following:Actively mentor other colleagues by contributing experience and insight to the team.Manage large programs & projects of significant complexity and risk.Independently (with minimal oversight) develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships, including at the senior leadership level and with external partners, that include guidance, as appropriate, for optimizing use of analytic capabilities and deliverables, and prioritization based on strategic vision.Lead in applying database and data warehouse design principles by identifying design activities based on requirements and success criteria.Must-Have*Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.7+ years of relevant experience in data analysis or analytics in the banking industry.Skills and KnowledgeBackground in Mortgage or Residential Lending.Candidates with experience using MSP or Empower preferred.Advanced senior professional with wide-ranging experience uses professional concepts to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in the residential/mortgage industry.CompensationStarting base salary: $92,114 - $156,880 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
