Our synergistic technology and brand solutions are designed to deliver the outcomes you care about – from reach to retention – coordinating talent leaders and their teams to constantly advance.Symphony Talent supports more than 900 clients across the globe, including the world’s leading brands with headquarters in New York, London, Bangalore, and Belfast and over 300 multinational employees.Position Overview:As a Leadership Team member, the Program Director, Assessments role will:Manage and mentor the Assessments group practice, including Product Engineering Lead, CSMs and Content Development teams.Drive the development of a high-performing, commercially focused team.Partner with Clients and account teams to implement Assessments and provide expert guidance in alignment with industry standards and best practices.Develop and maintain content for Assessments, including recommending best practices for assessment content for innovation and managing roadmap.Stay current with research, market needs, and competitiveness.Partner with Sales and Marketing and colleagues across business lines to provide technical knowledge support for business development efforts.Communicate progress against roadmap deliverables and revenue to Executive Leadership team.Hands-on technical work on complex projects including data analysis.Requirements

What does it take?Master’s degree, PhD preferred, in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a closely related field required.4+ years experience managing teams; translating client requirements for assessment implementation and executing against a detailed project plan.Strong research and data analysis skills, including knowledge and experience using statistical analysis software (e.g., Python, R, SPSS); knowledge of survey platforms preferred.Experience working with clients to understand business needs and developing assessments that meet standards for psychometric rigor in addition to standards for user experience and efficiency.Knowledge of statistical concepts, including item response theory, multiple item response theory, differential item/test functioning.Knowledge of core Industrial/Organizational Psychology topics such as assessment development, validation, performance management, and competency modeling.Outstanding critical thinking and writing skills.Outstanding communication and presentation skills including experience communicating and influencing stakeholders.Additional Benefits:Competitive base + variable compensation, unlimited PTO.Great benefits package, including a 401(k) plan, paid child leave & wellbeing offerings.Learning & growth programs.Open, collaborative culture.Only candidates with proper permits to work in the United States can be considered.
