Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS), Beavercreek Ohio, is seeking a
Software Engineer/ Principal Software Engineer
to support the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) on
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH . The selected candidate will participate in the entire software development lifecycle with a concentration in software engineering. They will implement solutions in a web-based environment and integrate them into a microservice cloud-based architecture. The candidates will work closely with other software developers accomplishing the following:
Support team in completing necessary software on schedule
Complete work independently and as a part of an Agile team
Solve complex problems through innovative and creative solutions
Collaborate with software designers and/or software engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of software systems
Regularly demonstrate progress to customers
Basic Qualifications for a Software Engineer:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related STEM degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; Masters degree with 0 years; High School diploma with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
An active Top Secret Clearance with SCI
Experience with object-oriented programming, using C++ and/or Java
Experience with Python or Pandas
Experience creating, updating, and querying databases
Data-minded, detail-oriented, communicative, willing to learn
Basic Qualifications for a Principal Software Engineer:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related STEM degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; Masters degree with 3 years; High School diploma with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
An active Top Secret Clearance with SCI
Experience with object-oriented programming, using C++ and/or Java
Experience with Python or Pandas
Experience creating, updating, and querying databases
Data-minded, detail-oriented, communicative, willing to learn

Salary Range:
$79,300 - $118,900Salary Range 2:
$97,500 - $146,300The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
