Join our Brokerage team as an Assistant Vice President - Property Insurance Broker in Los Angeles, CA!This position is in-office, with a hybrid schedule once training is complete.
Each Assistant Vice President is a vital member of our production teams, providing:
Develop problem solving strategies for helping retail agents with their coverage needs
Successfully manage a profitable book of new and renewal business
Negotiate with carriers for the best program for clients
Maintain strong relationships with key carriers in the Strategic Market
Understand and know market appetites and preferences for types of business
Set up and send submissions to carriers
Reviewing submission information required to issue new or renewal quotes
Rating and preparation of new or renewal quotes and binders
Review of and handling of inspection recommendations and discrepancies
Assist in accounting procedures such as invoicing
Data entry into multiple internet-based systems
We are looking for people with:
3+ years of wholesale, underwriting or retail insurance experience required
Prior experience in property insurance required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
High-level of motivation
Ability to prioritize important and pressing tasks
Innate organizational skills, willingness to take on challenges, and focus on personal responsibility

Pursuant to California regulation, the salary range for this position is $95,000 to $125,000 and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
