Whether it's today or 150 years from now, we continue to invest in our culture and your development so opportunities for growth and career advancement are never in short supply.Join our Access team as an Associate Underwriter in San Diego, CA!This position is a full-time, hybrid position.Pursuant to California regulation, the compensation for this position is $66,560 annually, and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.Each Associate Underwriter provides vital team functions:Review submissions information required to issue new or renewal quotesRate and prepare new or renewal quotes as directed by UnderwriterReview and handle inspection recommendations and discrepanciesMonitor various reports for consistencyPotential for policy issuance and endorsement processing, including auditsAssist in accounting procedures such as invoicingData entry into multiple internet-based systemsWe are looking for people with:At least 2-3 years of insurance underwriting and wholesale experienceCommercial Lines insurance experience preferredExceptional attention to detail and enthusiasmAbility to prioritize important and pressing tasksSelf-motivation and eagerness to learn!Snapshot of what Amwins provides to our valued team members:Compensation includes a salary commensurate with experiencePosition eligible for annual bonusFull benefits package available
