Join our team as a
Flood Underwriter in Training! This role will allow you to become a full Flood Production Underwriter in 6 months
! Qualified candidates must be located in the Los Angeles, California area.
Each Underwriter is a vital member of our teams, providing:Successfully create and manage a profitable book of new and renewal businessProspect for new business by developing relationships with retail agents through both traditional and creative marketing strategiesRemain up to date with new insurance companies' offers and how to leverage themProspect for new business markets and/or lines to write with sales techniques based in trust and relationship buildingMentor and train new team membersPursuant to California regulation, the salary range for this position is $66,560 to $67,000, and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
We are looking for people with:
Minimum 1-2 years of underwriting (Commercial & Personal Lines) experience
This role will be an accelerated (6 month) growth process into an Experienced Flood Underwriter
Bachelor's degree not required but preferredKnowledge of the sales process and pipeline managementAbility to travel up to 25%Licensed preferredSnapshot of what Amwins provides to our team members:
