Founded by a leadership team with a deep understanding and personal experience in virtually every facet of real estate development, AscentDS is uniquely positioned to create custom, innovative lending solutions for a variety of real estate development business strategies.ESSENTIAL DUTIESEnsure accurate and consistent data entry across multiple systems. Regularly review and verify data to ensure alignment and integrity across platforms.Responsible for preparing data tapes to be sent to investors and warehouse lines, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in their creation and delivery.Collaborate with the product manager and stakeholders to collect and document business and functional requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Participate in testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).GENERAL DUTIESIdentify opportunities for process enhancements, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in operations.Create and maintain documentation, including business requirements documents (BRD), functional specifications, and user stories.Analyze business data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and support decision-making.Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that solutions align with business needs and are delivered within agreed timelines.Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and key deliverables.Support the organization through transitions and help drive the successful adoption of new processes or systems.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a technology or financial services environment.Proficiency in business analysis tools (Microsoft Visio, Excel, JIRA). Familiarity with SQL, data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), or CRM systems is beneficial.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.Meticulous attention to detail, particularly with respect to data accuracy and alignment.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, articulate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team, while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.WORK ENVIRONMENTReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm; requires availability to work occasional nights and weekends.Worksite Location: Must be able to work from Ascent’s physical office at least four days per week.Office Environment: Open-concept, moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phones, light foot traffic).Physical Requirements: May be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.Travel: To/from local project locations.COMPENSATIONSalary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 per yearBonus: 15% per yearASCENTDS’ BENEFITSWe offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and work-life balance.
