We are looking for a
Community Manager
to join our team in San Jose. This person will have a great work ethic, be organized with good computer and communication skills. Arrowhead Housing provides a team environment that promotes good work-life balance with advancement opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. College or supplemental courses preferred, but not required.
Experience:
At least five years of related multi-family property management experience as Community Manager or higher, with at least three years of hands-on affordable (HUD and/or LIHTC) experience required. Affordable designations desired, but not required.
Abilities:
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Proficient in technological systems that are used, including phone systems with multiple lines ringing and property management software for marketing, managing properties, leasing, and residents. Experience using One Site/Real Page or similar program preferred.
Strong knowledge and experience with affordable programs, regulatory requirements, and processes preferred; affordable certifications highly desired (e.g., COS, TCS).
Good communication skills, including verbal and written.
Good problem-solving and organization skills.
Detail-oriented and organized with good time management skills.
Ability to relate well to people from diverse backgrounds.
Articulate, patient, organized, customer-oriented, enthusiastic, team player, and goal-oriented.
Ability to drive to properties within the company portfolio as needed with reliable transportation and a valid CA driver’s license in good standing.
Stamina for a fast-paced working environment.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bilingual desired, but not required.
