12 [Pay Range: $65,000 - $105,000]
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee the overall planning, purchasing, setup, and dissemination of information for all related B2B and B2C sales products.Monitor team progress and workflow to optimize operational efficiency and maximize profits.Lead collaboration between the Sales Development and Digital Solutions Departments to enhance effectiveness.Substitute for either department manager in their absence.Improve the efficiency of the Sales Development department and determine new procedures when necessary.Establish staffing plans and handle hiring decisions with department managers.
Secondary Responsibilities:Plan, sell, organize, and create new revenue sources for various group tours and individual customers.Negotiate with business partners to create new revenue sources.Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues to achieve department goals.Promote services and update corporate websites.Create future action plans for department expansion.Review business partner contracts for accuracy.Communicate with departments to resolve customer claims and complaints.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.5 to 7 years of experience in the travel/hospitality industry.5 years of managerial experience.Effective communication in English and Japanese.Knowledge of Hawaii’s tourism infrastructure and business concepts.Able to plan, organize, and coordinate work efficiently.Proficient in basic computer systems and software.Valid Hawaii driver’s license with clean abstract.
Working Conditions:Normal business hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.May work in various environments, including travel outside of Hawaii.Use of standard office equipment and company vehicles as authorized.
