12 [Pay Range: $65,000 - $105,000]
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee the overall planning, purchasing, setup, and dissemination of information for all related B2B and B2C sales products.Merge the initiatives of the Sales Development and Digital Solutions Departments to enhance effectiveness.Remove obstacles that arise from collaboration to enable effective teamwork.Work as a substitute for either department manager in their absence.Improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales Development department and determine new procedures when necessary.Establish staffing plans, interview, and handle hiring decisions with each department manager.
Secondary Functions:Conduct departmental meetings.Assist other departments during peak periods as required.Help cover in the absence of staff.Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.Five (5) to seven (7) years work experience in travel/hospitality and tour planning industry or in the advertising industry.At least five (5) years of managerial and supervisory experience.Effective communication skills in English and Japanese (written and verbal).Knowledge of Hawaii’s tourism infrastructure and Japanese culture.Able to plan, organize, and coordinate a variety of work efficiently.Possess working knowledge of basic computer systems and software.Valid Hawaii driver’s license with clean abstract.
Working Conditions:Normal business hours:
