Sentara Health, a nationally recognized and highly regarded integrated health care delivery system based in Virginia Beach, VA, is seeking an experienced leader to serve as Vice President, Head of Marketing. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic and results-oriented marketing executive to join an organization that has been at the forefront as a “model of care.” The system encompasses hospitals, a multi-specialty medical group, outpatient clinical operations, and one of the largest hospital-owned health plans in the U.S. The organization is well-respected for enhancing collaboration and accountability for managed care results across financial performance, quality performance, and health outcomes. The Vice President, Head of Marketing
will:
Craft strategies, manage budgets, and set goals for marketing teams.
Ensure consistent brand messaging, analyze consumer behavior, and identify market expansion opportunities.
Provide strategic leadership in the creation and implementation of marketing programs.
Ensure positive and productive relationships with the media, government officials, and community leaders and organizations.
Ensure a coordinated, integrated program of timely and forthright marketing artifacts are utilized to educate and inform key external and internal constituencies of Sentara Health.
Be responsible for provider and health plan marketing efforts.
