Division Director of Admissions
supporting the
Cleveland/Akron, OH
market.
PURPOSE/BELIEF STATEMENT
As Divisional Director of Admissions, your primary responsibilities will be to take ownership of census development and to provide divisional support to multiple regions for the admissions process. You will be responsible to train, coach, mentor and educate the Regional Directors of Sales, Admissions Directors, and Directors of Public Relations in your division. You will be asked to participate in the hiring process from recruitment, interviews, offers, and training. Your chief focus will be community-based business development and community admissions. You will work in strong collaboration with the Division Vice President of Operations and Divisional Director of Sales to grow census.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Someone centrally located in the greater Cleveland or Akron area
Multi-site nursing home leadership experience
Community-based sales and marketing strategy development and implementation
Strong understanding of the Ohio admission process
Travel within the market is a must
They have to be engaging and creative, be able to train and lead, and be able to operationalize processes in the admissions department
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Undergraduate degree required, graduate degree preferred
Must be centrally located in the greater Cleveland or Akron, OH area
Travel within the market is a must
Strong understanding of the Ohio admissions process
Multi-site nursing home leadership experience (3 - 5 years preferred)
Community-based nursing facility sales and marketing strategy development and implementation experience
Professional Sales Training preferred
Experience in developing strategic business plans and creative sales campaigns.
Experience using a customer relationship management system.
Proven track record in growing census by leveraging community-based sales strategies.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Must be engaging and creative; able to train and lead; able to operationalize processes in the admissions department.
Excellent computer proficiency. Strong skillset in Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
Strong understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care and long term care
