Division Director of Admissions
supporting the
Cleveland/Akron, OH
market.
PURPOSE/BELIEF STATEMENTAs Divisional Director of Admissions, your primary responsibilities will be to take ownership of census development and to provide divisional support to multiple regions for the admissions process. You will be responsible to train, coach, mentor and educate the Regional Directors of Sales, Admissions Directors, and Directors of Public Relations in your division. You will be asked to participate in the hiring process from recruitment, interviews, offers, and training. Your chief focus will be community-based business development and community admissions. You will work in strong collaboration with the Division Vice President of Operations and Divisional Director of Sales to grow census.
Minimum RequirementsSomeone centrally located in the greater Cleveland or Akron areaMulti-site nursing home leadership experienceCommunity-based sales and marketing strategy development and implementationStrong understanding of the Ohio admission processTravel within the market is a mustEngaging and creative; able to train and lead; able to operationalize processes in the admissions department.
Qualifications And Experience RequirementsUndergraduate degree required, graduate degree preferredMust be centrally located in the greater Cleveland or Akron, OH areaTravel within the market is a mustStrong understanding of the Ohio admissions processMulti-site nursing home leadership experience (3 – 5 years preferred)Community-based nursing facility sales and marketing strategy development and implementation experienceProfessional Sales Training preferredExperience in developing strategic business plans and creative sales campaigns.Experience using a customer relationship management system.Proven track record in growing census by leveraging community-based sales strategies.
Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesMust be engaging and creative; able to train and lead; able to operationalize processes in the admissions department.Excellent computer proficiency. Strong skillset in Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.Strong understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care and long term care.
