EMIT Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Director of Finance to join our team.This position will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations, managing high-volume transactions, and providing strategic financial analysis. This position will focus on maintaining financial accuracy, enhancing reporting processes, and conducting ad hoc financial analysis to support decision-making and drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct financial analyses to support business decisions, including profitability assessments, cost analysis, and financial modeling. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on analysis.

Oversee all financial operations, including high-volume transaction processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial transactions.

Prepare, review, and present accurate financial statements and reports. Deliver financial insights to Leadership peers.

Manage processes for handling high volumes of transactions, improving accuracy and efficiency. Streamline workflows to enhance operational effectiveness.

Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to protect company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing comprehensive financial analysis and insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and implement corrective actions as needed.

Manage and mentor the finance and accounting team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Support team development through training and guidance.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance transaction management, reporting accuracy, and overall financial performance.

Utilize and optimize financial systems and software for effective transaction management, reporting, and data analysis.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or MBA (Master of Business Administration) preferred.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience managing and developing finance teams.

Extensive experience in finance and accounting, with a proven track record of managing high-volume transactions and providing insightful financial analysis.

Strong proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to handle complex financial data and scenarios.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in conducting ad hoc financial analyses and presenting findings to senior management.

Deep understanding of Accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal controls.

Proficiency in financial systems and software, with a demonstrated ability to optimize financial processes and transaction management.
