Responsibilities:Position Summary:

The incumbent is responsible for leading the successful planning and activation of new medical centers, ambulatory sites, and other projects of strategic significance for UCI Health. The individual will serve as a leader guiding the alignment and coordination between interdisciplinary teams. The position will ensure that all aspects of activation are planned and executed, including, but not limited to, staffing, establishing workflows, and upholding operational principles. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying and developing strong matrixed relationships with system stakeholders/project partners in the planning, governance, and execution across departments of UCI Health (i.e., medical centers, ambulatory, clinical departments, other).

Qualifications:Required Qualifications:

Understands and has significant experience in the use of tools for process improvement to include lean methodologies, project management, change management, and other improvement techniques.

Understanding of business planning including analysis, budgeting, feasibility studies, and implementation.

Strong project management skills.

Strong facilitation skills.

Results-oriented change agent who is an effective business systems thinker.

Proven ability to quickly develop credibility with various/all constituencies.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, Access and PowerPoint, and statistical data analysis software and other desktop applications.

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.

Must be results-driven to drive quantifiable results.

Good team leadership and motivational skills and good creative problem solving skills.

Experience with structured Change Management methodologies.

Experience leading and implementing project management or new building activation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Effective communicator able to understand the needs of a variety of audience members and tailor a message accordingly.

Bachelor’s degree.

Analytical ability to develop, analyze and interpret application of data.

Ability to plan, set expectations (for self and others), and accomplish multiple objectives within specific timeframes.

Ability to manage risk and ambiguity on a project.

Ability to maintain an organized approach, clarity of purpose, and goal orientation in a rapidly changing environment involving multiple stakeholders of various levels from throughout the organization.

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.

3+ years internal or external consulting (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree.

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.
