This role is crucial in developing HR policies, fostering a positive work environment, resolving conflicts, and supporting company objectives and goals.RESPONSIBILITIESOversight of employee relations across the company while providing coaching and support to managers on performance-related issuesConduct HR investigations tactically and judiciouslyProven ability to develop and implement HR policies and proceduresEnsuring compliance with labor laws and regulationsEnsure S+B’s HRIS remains updated and managedAdministering employee benefits, compensation and responding to unemployment claimsManage offboarding process for departing employeesPreparing to meet HR + Payroll requirements in new markets as S+B expandsRunning and auditing payroll to ensure employees are accurately paid on timeREQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field3+ years of proven experience in an HR capacity supporting 350+ hourly employees in multiple statesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsHR CertificationPreferred experience with HR software and systems (Rippling HRIS)Contract to Full Time - 20 Hours a week, Hourly CompensationWHAT WE OFFERA fun, collaborative space that embraces change and innovationCompetitive benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401K with company match, and paid vacation and holidaysComplimentary Sugaring + Tanning services + Products.
