Senior Operations Logistics Manager

Duties include serving as a senior-level logistician on the P-8A Increment 3 Program assisting with Missions Systems Integrated Logistics/Product Support (ILS/IPS) and life-cycle management evolutions while supporting the APML and associated DAPMLs. Responsible for managing and coordinating the execution of ILS/IPS-related analysis, ECP/TD support, requirements definition, planning, development, integration, implementation, and management efforts as they apply to domestic and FMS P-8A in-service aircraft, weapon systems, training, and/or SE programs. Duties may also include development of PowerPoint slides and supporting logistics presentations. Position is located at NAS Patuxent River, MD, and includes a hybrid work environment (telework and in-office). Requisition ESI0108Qualifications & Requirements:Requires a bachelor’s degree, ten (10) years’ experience in operational logistics and/or maintenance engineering, and four (4) years of supervising three or more logisticians in support of an acquisition or operational command.ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional five (5) years of relevant experience in operational logistics or maintenance engineering can be substituted for a BS/BA degree; additionally, an MS/MA degree or designation as a Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) from the International Society of Logistics (SOLE) may be substituted for two (2) years of required logistics experience.Previous experience with P-8A Poseidon and/or P-3C Orion aircraft acquisition logistics and/or operational maintenance activities is highly desired.Must be a US citizen, have a valid state driver’s license, and be able to obtain/retain an active DoD Secret-level security clearance.
