A law firm in Miami, FL is seeking a dedicated First-Party Property Associate Attorney to handle a diverse portfolio of first-party property cases. The ideal candidate will provide legal expertise in matters related to property claims, conduct thorough research, and collaborate with colleagues to develop strategic approaches. The attorney will be responsible for attending court proceedings and ensuring the effective resolution of client matters. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment, with a focus on insurance defense and first-party property cases.Key Responsibilities:

Handle a broad range of first-party property cases, from inception to resolution.Conduct in-depth legal research and provide comprehensive legal analysis on property-related claims.Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents with precision.Prepare and argue motions, and represent clients at court hearings and depositions.Collaborate with colleagues to formulate case strategies aimed at achieving the best outcomes for clients.Maintain organized and up-to-date case files, ensuring efficient communication and compliance with firm policies.Advise and communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on case status and legal options.Attend mediations and negotiations as needed to resolve disputes.Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting first-party property claims.Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the Florida Bar (in good standing).Experience in first-party property work or insurance defense preferred.Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of Florida state and federal court procedures, rules, and regulations related to first-party property claims.Required Skills:

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in case preparation and documentation.Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.High level of professionalism and ethical standards.Ability to think strategically and develop creative legal solutions to complex problems.Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in first-party property law, insurance defense, or related areas of litigation.Familiarity with negotiating settlements and participating in mediations.Experience handling high-volume case dockets.Certifications:
