First-Party Property Associate Attorney
to handle a variety of first-party property cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in legal research, drafting pleadings, and providing comprehensive legal analysis. They will work closely with clients and colleagues to develop sound legal strategies, prepare and argue motions, attend court hearings, and ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle a wide range of first-party property cases from inception to resolution.Conduct detailed legal research and provide comprehensive legal analysis to support case strategies.Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.Prepare and argue motions in court, effectively advocating on behalf of clients.Attend court hearings and negotiate settlements when appropriate.Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective legal strategies for complex cases.Interact with clients regularly, maintaining clear communication to address concerns and update them on case progress.Manage and maintain accurate case files and documentation, ensuring adherence to firm policies and procedures.Ensure efficient case workflow while meeting all deadlines and compliance requirements.Stay current with applicable laws, regulations, and legal trends in first-party property and insurance defense.Requirements:
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Bar Admission:
Active membership in the Florida Bar is required.Experience:
Previous experience in first-party property law or insurance defense is highly preferred.Trial and courtroom experience are advantageous but not required.
Legal Skills:
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.Ability to draft complex legal documents with accuracy and efficiency.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly.Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
Certifications:
Florida Bar membership in good standing.Skills:
