Job Summary:

This is NOT a remote position. This role will be based out of the St. Louis, MO metro area.

Job Highlights:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as a member of the leadership team providing strategic direction on HR related issues. Works effectively as a team member in a dynamic executive environment in a matrix organization, and promotes teamwork within and across the organization by maintaining positive relationships and utilizing effective problem solving skills.

Provides direction, leadership, communication, consultation and support for human resources total rewards functions. Shares HR knowledge and best practices across the organization to foster collaboration, encourage learning and innovation, and promote shared accountability and responsibility. Directs the resolution of HR issues. Contributes to the financial performance of the organization.

Identifies HR best practices and adopts those initiatives which support the organization's strategic objectives. Participates in development of HR policies and provides interpretation and administration of those policies. Ensures policies are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Serves as a key resource on matters related to organizational effectiveness, performance improvement, and integrating HR programs to enhance organization performance.

Administers and directs total rewards functions such as compensation, benefits, talent management, physician relations, HRIS, learning and development and diversity efforts. Assumes fiscal responsibility through budgetary planning and implementation.

Identifies total rewards opportunities and develops and implements plans to achieve best practices to increase satisfaction and retention while ensuring fiscal responsibility.

Implements communication initiatives to enhance employee engagement and acts as a liaison, where appropriate, with communication departments and various administrative groups. Establishes and communicates methods for soliciting physician and employee opinions and increasing involvement and satisfaction.

Guides labor relations policies related to total rewards and addresses emerging labor issues including assessment of vulnerabilities, supervisory training, coordination of consultant activity, policy development and formulation of responses to media.

Creates and maintains an environment which focuses on physician and employee engagement and encourages continuous quality improvement of services to all customers, both internal and external.

Coordinates with overall organization leadership in development and succession planning. Develops policies and coordinates efforts to address labor issues.

Performs other duties as assigned.
