We are currently seeking a

Director, Total Rewards

to work collaboratively to design, implement, and manage attractive and competitive total rewards programs in compensation, benefits, recognition, and well-being that are aligned with Pursuit Aerospace’s values and strategic business objectives. This role is located in Manchester, CT and reports to the Vice President of Human Resources.

We’re looking for a Director of Total Rewards who believes in creating best in class compensation, benefits, and rewards systems and processes aligned to a growing organization that will allow us to attract, engage, and retain top talent, always pursuing better through continuous improvement.

In this Director of Total Rewards role:

You’ll provide great service to internal HR customers and work collaboratively across the HR Leadership team.

You’ll create and implement total rewards strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.

You’ll lead the design, implementation, and management of compensation programs, including executive compensation, base salary, short-term and long-term incentives, and recognition.

You’ll create a framework through a job structure inclusive of functions, levels, and pay ranges that can be used as a foundation to integrate future acquisitions and provide career pathing for employees.

You’ll determine appropriate pay data tool(s) and create/maintain salary ranges for all roles in the job structure; owning the annual compensation planning process.

You’ll lead the design, implementation, and management of benefit programs including health and wellbeing, financial wellness, time-off and leaves, and accommodations.

You’ll establish a 3-year benefits strategy for the US and drive utilization of the medical benefits advocacy partner.

You’ll manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with external partners.

You’ll harmonize remaining total rewards across the Company and establish standard work processes and policies, including leave/absence management.

You’ll support the integration of acquisitions.

You’ll lead a direct report and provide coaching, direction, and leadership support to employees to achieve objectives.

You’ll be responsible for programmatic HR legal/compliance in and outside of the US across benefits, compensation, and leave management; specifically ACA, discriminatory testing, wage transparency, and state requirements/disclosures.

You’ll develop and deliver communications and training on total rewards programs to employees, managers, HR, and other stakeholders.

You’ll create standard work/processes and participate in continuous improvement (kaizen) initiatives across the company, demonstrating a flexible working and communication style.

You’ll partner with site HR teams regarding the delivery of products, programs, and services to continuously improve impact and effectiveness with a service mindset.

You’ll use data to inform recommendations, ensure compensation planning is aligned to a performance-based philosophy, drive retention across the Company, monitor operational statistics, report trends, variances and issues, and take appropriate action.

You’ll travel as needed to various Pursuit sites (up to ~10%).

Qualifications:

BS/BA degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.

12+ years of experience in Compensation, Benefits, and Total Rewards.

Preferred Additional Skills/Experience:

Deep knowledge of compensation and benefits best practices, trends, and regulations in and outside of the US including in ACA, discriminatory testing, wage transparency, and state requirements / disclosures.

Experience managing executive compensation and pay equity.

Experience designing and implementing a cross-Company job structure.

Experience integrating acquisitions into existing compensation and benefits structures.

Ability to facilitate alignment between multiple projects running simultaneously, identifying dependencies, change management requirements, and prioritizing accordingly.

Strategic Thinking and Leadership: Capable of creating and achieving a desired future state (vision) through influence on company values, individual and group goals, execution of plans, value reinforcements, and systems.

Demonstrable experience using data for HR Metrics and subsequent action planning; including Microsoft excel proficiency.

In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.

Competence to build and effectively manage collaborative interpersonal relationships at all levels of the Company.

Experience directly supporting leaders at multiple levels within the organization.

Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
