Does this sound like you?!What you will be doing:
Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure data warehouse architectures using Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Microsoft data tools.
Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
Build and manage ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory, ensuring data is accurately and efficiently moved between systems.
Integrate data from various sources, including on-premises databases, cloud services, and external APIs, into the data warehouse.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all data systems.
Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to enhance performance and reduce costs.
Monitor and enforce data quality standards, ensuring data is clean, consistent, and reliable.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data technologies
Propose and implement improvements to existing data architecture and processes.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
What you already have:
Education, Experience, and Licensing:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or High school diploma and equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or related roles.
4+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS or with Azure data tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.
2+ years' experience with cloud-based data solutions and hybrid data environments
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data architecture principles.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of data security best practices and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated capability utilizing one or more cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proven ability to be adaptable and flexible; able to adjust to new requirements or unforeseen issues.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on excellent customer service.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Exceptional time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and allocate resources efficiently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with team members in other departments.
Proficient in MSO/365 applications such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
