The Role:Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Lead Java FSE (React/Azure) to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build cutting-edge, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. Responsibilities:
Provide technical road map and solution for project issues.
Maintain and upgrade the software following deployment.
Manage the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications.
Oversee and guide the analyzing, writing, building, and deployment of software.
Oversee automated testing and provide feedback to management during the development process.
Modify and test changes to previously developed programs.
Represent the team in larger forums and explain the ongoing projects and unique initiatives.
Introduce emerging technologies or frameworks that help reduce team effort.
Discuss any clarification on tasks with the Product team.
Provide suggestions for improvements.
Attend agile meetings regularly.
Come up with innovative ideas to improve client and Cognizant business.
Ensure there is no tech debt in the project.
Create rapport with clients and stakeholders.
Train new members who join the project.
Complete required certifications on time.
Qualifications:
8-10 years of experience as a strong Java Full Stack Developer with expertise in Java, Microservices, and Azure Cloud platform.
Experience working with React JS, Redux, JavaScript, and ECMA.
Experience in designing front-end interfaces.
Building tools that improve site interaction.
Creating and implementing UI/UX designs.
Coding in client-side programming languages.
Experience working with Java 8, Spring Framework, Spring Cloud, and Azure.
Designing back-end systems.
Supporting the full application lifecycle.
Building relational or non-relational databases.
Coding in server-side programming languages.
