Regional Vice President

The Regional Vice President (RVP) is responsible for the business development, strategic direction, and management of PRA locations within the position's assigned region. The RVP leads the cross-functional teams managing the day-to-day business, while focusing on sales goal attainment, managing client relationships, and developing strategies to drive new business opportunities within the region. As the team leader, the Regional Vice President will motivate the team through support, guidance, and empowerment.

As a member of the Business Management Team (BMT), the Regional Vice President plays an integral role in the client experience, employee selection, development, and financial performance.

Must be located in the Bay Area. This role is hybrid and allows for some work from home and some commuting to an office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Coaches and assists teams toward completion of regional financial goals.

Hires, trains, and evaluates the ongoing job performance of regional employees, ensuring the highest levels of client service and team member engagement.

Initiates and leads strategic meetings to review large scale opportunities and assess the resources and support required to ensure client expectations are exceeded.

Drives sales and operational consistency and ensures compliance with all company standards and best practices.

Provides input and support to VP, Strategic Partnerships and Regional Sales team to execute on hotel partnership plan that drives incremental revenue and market share growth.

Oversees and supports local marketing efforts and conducts quarterly market analysis of partnership opportunities and competitive set.

Establishes and maintains local and regional budgets with oversight of P&Ls and performance goals.

Acts as an escalation point for regional team members to manage and support any client or partner concerns.

Collaborates with other regional peers as a member of the Business Management Team and participates in the development of PRA's short and long-range planning and strategic initiatives.

Continual evaluation of the regional team structure and deployment plan for increased efficiencies and productivity.

Provides individual employees with professional and personal growth objectives and opportunities.

Works with Team Leaders, Directors of Sales, Regional Sales Manager(s), and Global Sales team to develop annual sales plans.

Qualifications

Ten or more years' experience in hospitality management, including hiring, training, motivating, and regular job appraisal; Preferred DMC, incentive travel, event management, or experience in a related field.

Ability to establish and maintain industry relationships in all assigned destinations.

Deliver leadership through management, motivation, and direction toward defined goals and outcomes.

Operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Leverage knowledge of program design and development, from inception through contract.

Read, analyze, and interpret client proposal requirements, RFPs, contracts, financial reports, and other legal documents.

Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, supplier/partners, and employees.

Prepare reports and business correspondence and collaborate on the development of proposals.

Generate and deliver executive summaries and presentations to senior management, as warranted.

Present information and respond to questions from clients, supplier/partners, and hoteliers.

Actively listen and then develop relevant solutions to challenges/opportunities.

Possess professional acumen and a servant leadership style to lead the team by example.

Measure performance to company goals and standards and monitor ongoing KPIs.

Leverage excellent analytical skills toward budgeting and strategic planning.

Regional travel to each destination on a regular basis.

Organize and manage multiple priorities.

Display quality orientation and attention to detail.

Leverage expert proficiency on programs and tools needed for position such as: Microsoft Teams and Office, Salesforce, and other internal systems.

Pay: $125,000-$200,000 target all-in compensation comprised of salary and incentive plan.
