Job Overview:

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager Lead who has successfully driven multi-dimensional business critical strategic programs across several workstreams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in project management, technical program management, and PMO principles. They should have a proven track record of delivering complex programs on time, within budget, and to predetermined quality standards.

This candidate will be responsible for collaborating with a team of engineering managers and business stakeholders, orchestrating the successful delivery of strategic initiatives. They will work closely with senior leadership to define project scope, timeline, operational metrics, and budget, to ensure alignment with business goals and KPIs. They will also be responsible for prioritizing competing needs and managing stakeholder expectations, resolving conflicts, in addition to providing regular status updates to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Execution:

Translate ambiguous business goals into clear and measurable objectives and actionable processes/programs.

Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation for Bytedance strategic initiatives globally.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including capacity planning, engineering, operations, and commercial teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.

Coordination, Monitoring and Reporting:

Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide regular updates to senior management and other key stakeholders on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and incidents, change logs.

Lead regular reviews of project progress and leadership readouts.

Business Performance and Risk Management:

Define, track and report the performance of the business across a number of areas including stability, efficiency, capacity delivery, cost efficiency, organization maturity, etc.

Conduct regular risk assessments, identify potential risks and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines, protect business outcomes and maintain compliance.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.

Lead strategic initiatives to solve business challenges across the organization.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in project/program management, with a focus on network infrastructure or private/public cloud computing or hyperscale datacenter infrastructure providers.

Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects from initiation to completion.

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Proficiency in project management software (JIRA).

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborative with a global team and willing to roll up the sleeves as necessary.

Pay:

$250,466.00 - $510,917.00 per year
