Associate Attorney - Criminal DefenseJob descriptionShnider Law Firm is a client-centered criminal defense law firm seeking a passionate and tenacious attorney to join our San Jose Office.Ideal candidates will have criminal trial experience, preferably as a prosecutor or a public defender. You will be handed cases from start to finish (prefile to trial).The position requires a resourceful, proactive, autonomous, and motivated individual.RequirementsMinimum two (2) years of experience as a practicing, licensed attorney in criminal lawCurrent membership with the State Bar of California with no history of misconductA passion for criminal defenseExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalPossess a general understanding of case review, trial preparation, litigation issues, court process, and familiarity with trial/local rulesDetail-oriented, organized, and able to multitaskA team player who enjoys working collaboratively with othersCritical thinker who can identify the strengths/weaknesses of a caseEmbrace TechnologyLive/travel in South Bay Area (Santa Clara, Alameda, San Mateo, and Santa Cruz)Treat

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
