Are you looking for a new role in the hotel industry where you can show off your sales skills to attract new guests? Our busy hotel is looking for a dual sales assistant who is unwavering in their dedication to customer satisfaction and providing an exceptional experience for our guests. Responsibilities include responding to guest inquiries, contacting potential new guests based on networking and referral leads, and assisting the sales team with administrative tasks. Responsibilities: • Recognize opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding guest satisfaction for the hotel group • Establish and maintain communication with customers via phone and email to answer their inquiries and requests • Prepare sales presentations and support materials for prospective customers, such as suitable event space, dining and catering services, hotel bookings, and access to relevant facilities • Perform an initial pitch to a list of business and referral prospects based on your research and networking • Plan and organize work schedules, file important documents, and communicate with stakeholders and hotel departments about sales-related information Qualifications: • Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales • Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a similar field is a plus • Must have previous sales experience working in the hospitality industry • Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively • Good organization and time management skills
