Senior Product Manager

LevitasBio is empowering next-generation sample preparation and characterization through its novel technology and expanding portfolio that seeks to enable researchers and lab personnel to process human, animal, and plant samples better. Driving the technology is the LeviCell platform and reagent kits that work in tandem. Our team is growing to drive commercial success, expand business operations, and support a strong customer experience.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to support our expanding portfolio of products. You will lead new product development to launch execution, driving cross-functional engagement with core teams (R&D Biology and Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Application Support). The position will gather customer requirements, create product proposals for new products, and develop a strong business case, including establishing product position messages within target focus research areas and use cases. This individual will be a crucial member in the marketing team to build product life cycle plan and application solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Gather customer requirements for new products, including instruments, reagents, and software, considering market drivers.

Conduct voice of customer and sales to understand customer and market needs.

Build financial models to support the commercialization process and strategy.

Develop product positioning and key messaging for product offerings across different applications and use cases.

Establish and develop strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive the product development process.

Develop customer advocates within target market segments. Identify collaboration opportunities, drive publications, and leverage customer influence to raise broader awareness.

Generate proof points, marketing collateral, and sales training to support product commercialization.

Conduct primary/secondary market research to better understand the landscape, shape a strategic approach, and identify success drivers.

Travel: 25%, in office and remote work.

Required Skills:

Experience in executing the product development process, including gathering customer requirements and MVPs and building forecast models to support the product commercialization process, is required.

Experience in product management leadership across core teams to guide program priorities and balance customer experience with revenue growth is required.

Proven ability to work closely with application support and field sales to prioritize sustaining issues, enable customer success, and strengthen core business.

A scientific background with experience in cell biology, immunology, genomics, CRISPR gene editing, and/or techniques such as NGS and flow Cytometry would be a plus.

Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Strong written and oral communication skills, in addition to giving presentations to large audiences internally and externally.

Education and Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant product management experience, with at least 1-2 years in the cell biology or sample preparation space.

An undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology, Biology, Biochemistry, or other relevant discipline. Graduate experience (MS, PhD, or MBA) preferred.

Self-motivated team player who can effectively manage multiple competing priorities and hit milestone deliverables on time.
