As the Head of Operations at Mia Share, your primary responsibility is the successful management and execution of broad operational functions including but not limited to vendor management and implementation, regulatory compliance, licensing, tracking and reporting business metrics, and general project management. As a key member of the Mia Share team you will play a critical role in supporting various areas of the business as we work towards our goal of shaping the future of education financing.Join us at Mia Share and help us revolutionize education financing for trade and technical schools, enabling a brighter future for students and educational institutions alike. If you are an organized leader and creative thinker with a relentless drive to succeed, we invite you to apply and be a part of our exciting journey.Responsibilities:Operational Leadership: Organize a systematic method to manage the operational team to successfully support the various operational needs of the company across many different functional groups and business processes.
Vendor Management: Own the vendor selection process to ensure successful partnership and successful implementation of vendor services, including ongoing relationship management and improvement.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company maintains regulatory compliance that supports business goals and growth.
Licensing: Manage the licensing submission and compliance process for various nationwide Mia Share products and programs.
Tracking and Reporting Business Metrics: Own the process of providing insight into the metrics of the business and sharing out summary reports and key findings to other managers and the executive team.
General Project Management: Help curate the various projects and initiatives across the company with a systematic approach to organization and project management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other department heads, including product development, servicing, and operations, to ensure the alignment of revenue-related activities with overall company goals.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of creativity, dedication, hard work, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
Proven experience (5 years) in an operational leadership and support role, preferably as a Senior Manager or Director over an Operations function.
Strong background in operational excellence, task and project accountability to completion, team management, and cross-collaboration involvement with other leaders or managers.
Experience in the education industry or financial services sector is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to organize around a project or set of tasks, effectively collaborate with other leaders and clearly communicate needs and status to leadership.
Demonstrated ability to function independently with minimal oversight.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on motivating and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with partners and stakeholders.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
