Job SummaryAction for Children (AFC) is seeking a dynamic and experienced CEO to lead our organization in its mission to provide high-quality early childhood education and family support services to communities in Central Ohio. The CEO will be responsible for leading the organization's overall strategy, operations, and growth, while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, staff, and partners.

Requirements:A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., early childhood education, public policy, non-profit management, business administration)At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role in early care and education, social services, or a related fieldProven track record of success in building relationships with stakeholders, overseeing the development of programs, and management of budgetsStrong understanding of early childhood education policy and researchExperience working with underserved communities and familiesExcellent communication, leadership, and management skillsAbility to think strategically, problem-solve creatively, and make data-driven decisionsStrong numeracy skills in finance and budgetingPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., early childhood education, public policy, non-profit management, business administration)Experience working in a non-profit organization or government agencyFamiliarity with Central Ohio politics and government processesExperience recruiting and developing talent for senior leadership positionsApplicationThe application due date is midnight on Sunday, September 15, 2024.
