Please review the following job description:Responsible for leading strategic business enablement and transformation initiatives on behalf of CIB executive leadership. Leverages subject matter expertise and leadership skills to design and execute a broad array of business initiatives, including strategic planning, new product initiatives, business change efforts, M&A evaluation/integration, resource/functional investment plans and other special projects, partnering with executive leaders, functional leaders and other business and functional resources.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides operating leverage to the CIB business leader(s) and teams within their business area, as well as CIB overall, in order to enable realization of strategic and performance objectives.
Proactively enables strategic evaluation of their designated business/products by leading the development of business and market/competitor intelligence, business performance analyses, productivity and opportunity insights, KPIs, and goal setting support.
Helps identify opportunities and designs/delivers strategies and programs to strengthen sales execution, remove barriers to success, and make processes more efficient and effective.
Leads transformation initiatives for their designated business area, including strategic plan initiatives, new product initiatives, business change efforts, M&A evaluation/integration.
Responsible for ongoing enablement programs to support the business, partnering with functional and other business partners as appropriate as primary liaison/SME.
Serves as lead for strategic planning, staffing/talent planning, technology and analytics plan/roadmap development, goal setting for their business area.
Manages and leads through unstructured situations. Able to decipher critical vs. non-critical needs, provide clarity and appropriate prioritization for teams, creatively problem solve and drive effective execution paths in the face of ambiguity.
Serves as SME for their business area and provides other leadership and support as needed for overall CIB, CIG or Truist initiatives on behalf of the business as needed.
Develops and maintains effective internal working relationships across CIB and the bank.
Applies solid risk management skills to make more complex risk decisions.
Mentors and coaches junior staff.
Required Qualifications:

BA/BS degree
12 years of related work experience
Advanced knowledge of industry, market, and products specific to CIB business
Advanced critical thinking, analytical and technical skills, with ability to problem solve and drive desired outcomes in unstructured / ambiguous situations
Excellent interpersonal style, good listening skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely
Strong partnering, leadership and influencing skills in a complex, matrixed environment
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA degree, with a Strategy or Finance focus
14 years of related work experience
Prior management experience
