Job SummaryRamada by Wyndham is seeking a results-driven Sales Director to lead in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives that focus on increasing overall sales and revenue streams for the Hotel and Banquet leads. This role requires a professional with a strong background in hospitality sales and a proven track record of achieving sales growth.Key Roles and Responsibilities1. Strategic Sales Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans aimed at maximizing occupancy, revenue, and market share for the hotel.Create targeted sales campaigns to promote room sales, corporate bookings, and special packages that appeal to various market segments.Expertise in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, focusing on key accounts in the corporate, leisure, and group travel sectors.2. Banquet and Event Sales Leadership:
Develop and execute strategies to drive banquet and event bookings, ensuring that the hotel's event spaces are fully utilized.Collaborate with the Banquet Sales Lead to identify potential clients and secure contracts for weddings, corporate events, social gatherings, and other special occasions.Oversee the creation of tailored proposals and packages that cater to the specific needs of event clients, ensuring competitive pricing and high profitability.3. Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, event planners, and local businesses.Conduct regular site visits, presentations, and sales calls to showcase the hotel’s facilities and services.Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by addressing any concerns promptly and providing exceptional service throughout the customer journey.4. Revenue Management and Reporting:
Monitor and analyze sales performance, occupancy rates, revenue per available room (RevPAR), and other key metrics to ensure alignment with the hotel’s financial goals.Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to adjust pricing strategies based on market conditions, demand, and competitive analysis.5. Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
Work closely with the operations, food and beverage, and events teams to ensure that all guest and client expectations are met and exceeded.Coordinate with the front office and reservations teams to optimize room inventory and maximize revenue.Job Type:
