Home2 Suites by Hilton in Hoover, Alabama, is seeking a motivated and experienced
Director of Sales
to drive revenue growth and maximize occupancy. As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to attract and retain guests, manage corporate accounts, and support the overall profitability of the hotel. Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue targets for room occupancy, group sales, and corporate accounts.
Account Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, travel agencies, and local organizations to secure ongoing business and loyalty.
Market Analysis : Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay competitive within the local market, adjusting strategies to meet market demands.
Collaboration with Operations : Work closely with the General Manager and operational teams to ensure sales initiatives align with hotel operations and guest experience goals.
Revenue Management : Collaborate with revenue management teams to analyze pricing, promotions, and occupancy data to optimize profitability.
Event Planning Support : Assist with planning and execution of on-property events, group bookings, and special promotions to increase revenue and enhance the hotel’s brand.
Reporting & Forecasting : Track, analyze, and report on sales metrics, budget forecasts, and monthly goals, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales or a related field, preferably within the Hilton brand or a similar hotel brand.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Skills : Strong sales acumen, negotiation skills, and a strategic approach to revenue generation.
Communication : Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to foster strong client relationships.
Customer-Centric : A dedication to delivering outstanding guest experiences and upholding the hotel’s reputation.
Tech-Savvy : Proficiency in hotel sales software, CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and other relevant platforms.
Results-Oriented : Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and objectives.
