Our software is already deeply integrated into some of the world’s top wealth managers and powers retail applications around the globe.

GBI’s core platform currently allows clients to buy, sell, store, and take delivery of precious metals through an agency model through their existing accounts and trading systems or directly through our online portals. An innovative combination of a global over-the-counter marketplace and a storage/logistics network allows wealth managers and institutional investors to integrate these holdings into their portfolio allocation, maintaining assets under management, growing client assets and relationships, and providing value added services to their clients.

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking an established and successful sales professional with strong relationships in the wire houses, RIA’s, Family Offices, and Independent Advisors to join our team. The Regional Vice President will perform as part of a sales team, which includes an Assistant Vice President (internal) partner, and will be responsible for the development and day-to-day management of a geographic territory, West Coast (AK, AZ, CA, GU, HI, ID, MT, NV, ND, OR, SD, UT, WA, WY).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Serve as the ‘go-to’ person providing expert insight and product information to your network of financial professionals so they can effectively offer GBI solutions to their customers.

Grow, develop, and manage your territory’s profitability through sales execution, marketing campaigns, business plans, and customer relationship management.

Utilize telephone and virtual technologies to cultivate relationships with your clients by providing value-added services, proactively engaging them in new opportunities, and becoming a trusted business partner.

Existing relationships with Merrill Lynch, UBS, Family Offices and RIA’s is a plus.

Collaborate with leaders in the territory to schedule group meetings, develop sales opportunities, and build relationships with advisors across assigned territory.

proactively follow up with advisors to advance the sales process and deepen relationships.

Manage and grow existing relationships to drive new business to meet and exceed goals.

Conduct meetings- consultative sales calls through telephone, webinars, and face-to-face meetings with financial advisors and varied licensed professionals.

Develop and implement sales strategies.

Discuss domestic and international markets along with portfolio strategies for the inclusion of Precious Metals.

Identify advisor’s needs and sales opportunities.

Discuss asset allocation strategies based on client goals and risk tolerances.

Tailor sales concepts and presentations based on advisor needs and profile.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of financial services sales experience required.

HubSpot experience is preferred but not required.

Experience Using LinkedIn as a prospecting and networking tool.

Internal, external, and/or hybrid sales experience is preferred.

Ability to drive results, and increase presence and market share.

Demonstrated knowledge of Financial Products and related concepts.

Able to work independently and prioritize work in a fast-paced sales environment while meeting challenging deadlines.

Understanding of market trends impacting the business with a desire to seek continuous improvement.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Compensation:

Base salary ranges from $ 80K to $100K with a monthly commission based on gross territory sales. Note incentive compensation above base salary is tied directly to sales without a cap.
