Part-Time HR Administrator

Role Summary:

Provides HR guidance and comprehensive support to the Vice President of Human Resources, HR team members, managers, and employees. This includes a key focus on various HR functions such as recruiting, benefits, facilitating administrative onboarding processes, and ensuring accurate payroll processing. In addition, actively contributes to HR initiatives, leveraging knowledge and skills to drive impactful results in areas such as talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development.

Key Duties & Accountabilities:

Provides support to VP of HR and HR team to manage assigned initiatives and provide support with HR initiatives, with a focus on filing, recruiting, onboarding, benefits and payroll.

Owns payroll processing in collaboration with Finance.

Department intranet site – periodically reviews and updates material to ensure accurate and up-to-date material that reflects the CRICO HR brand.

Supports Senior HR Manager with benefits administration.

Supports the HR Business Partner with peak recruiting loads and year-end recruitment by:

Managing assigned requisitions, maintaining focus on desired competencies, time to fill, as well as the manager and candidate experience. Also provides back-up support with respect to sourcing, and management of other open requisitions.

Other related duties as requested.

Support HR Business Partner with onboarding by ensuring HIPAA regulations are met for temporary staff and contractors and completes necessary paperwork and setups.

Works with outside immigration counsel on H1B visa and green card applications.

Serves as lead with respect to HR files, including employee files, to ensure regulatory compliance with local, state and federal laws.

Builds and strengthens knowledge of HR practices, laws and regulations, and best practices in the industry. Conducts research as requested.

Participates in special projects and HR related task forces as assigned.

Performs other related duties and ad hoc projects including Committee representation as required by position.

Requirements:

Knowledge: Education, Experience, & Skills:

Entry to associate level HR experience required.

BA/BS degree or equivalent required.

Recruiting and payroll experience preferred.

Exposure to one or more applicant tracking systems and/or HRIS systems preferred.

MS office and other business software.

Discrete; ability to maintain highly confidential information.

Good judgment and integrity.

Strong communications and computer literacy skills.

This role is hybrid, in office Tuesday and Wednesdays, 32 hours per week Monday through Thursday. Candidate must be local to MA, RI, CT, NH, or ME.
