The rate for this position is $31-$33/hour.SUMMARYWe are looking for an experienced individual to be an integral part of our hospitality accounting team as well as work closely with our department managers to analyze and improve labor productivity.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist with balance sheet reconciliations and payroll journal entries.Development and distribution of labor reportsOrganization of weekly and monthly labor reviews.Assisting with payroll tasks and auditsOther accounting duties as assigned.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEAssociate's degree in Business/Accounting; or two (2) - three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two+ years' experience in a hospitality finance or accounting role preferred. Prior payroll reconciliation experience preferred. Prior experience utilizing financial reporting ERPs, labor management systems and creating Microsoft Excel worksheets strongly preferred.LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.REASONING ABILITYAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
