The Director of Admissions provides leadership for the recruitment efforts of the campus. This person will administer and supervise the Office of Admissions, including student recruitment; admissions counseling; middle/high school relations; community relations; off-campus admissions procedures; admission of resident and non-resident students.This position supervises exempt and non-exempt Admissions personnel as well as the part-time and work-study personnel as assigned.Major Responsibilities:

Develop annual and long-range enrollment targets for the campus and its programs and implements innovative recruitment strategies in collaboration with the campus administration, other functional areas with Enrollment Services, Student Success, faculty, and the Office of Marketing and Communications at the campus.Review, analyze and evaluate recruitment efforts and devise enhancements consistent with enrollment goals based on annual and long-range targets.Coordinate admissions functions with other College services such as orientation, assessment, registration, financial aid, business office, the advising center, and other related campus and service area functions.Oversee the development and implementation of communications and information tools to prospective students in collaboration with the Systems Office Marketing and Communication groups.Develop collaborative relationships and outreach with area middle and high schools, colleges/universities and community agencies and organizations to expand the College’s admissions services to prospective students. Develop and control department budget within established College policies and procedures.Assist in strategic planning for Enrollment Services and evaluation efforts of the established plan.Work with students, faculty, staff, alumni, resource development, and the community accomplishing external goals of the Office of Admissions and the Enrollment Services Department.Assign job duties, train, direct and evaluate employees in the execution of job responsibilities to achieve the goals and objectives of the Office of Admissions.Serve on local and/or system-level committees.Manage and direct the student admissions process. Supervise (and participate in) recruiting services; personal contacts; college fairs; middle/high school visits; information events; community activities, specialized recruiting activities, and written communication which includes organized/systematic mailing of informational literature, and coordinates campus tours.Conduct all activities within the established guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).Participate in major campus events such as, but not limited to, the commencement ceremony.The above list of duties is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. $57,000 - 63,000 per yearBenefits Offered:

Bachelor’s degree required, Master's preferred.Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience and three (3) years of supervisory experience are required.Broad knowledge of enrollment management processes and the ability to develop and maintain close working relationships with both internal and external constituents.Must demonstrate the ability to take initiative and make decisions.
