Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana, with 18 successful restaurants in Southern CA, Northern CA, and Las Vegas, is hiring an experienced Sous Chef to join our great team.Strong kitchen and dining room experience with attention to the details of our authentic Italian cuisine, recipes, and execution is required.1 year prior experience as a Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Supervisor required.Daily responsibilities include:Food preparation and service for all meal periodsRecipe adherence with special attention to timely preparation and plate presentationTraining and supervising kitchen staffAdhering to food and facility safety requirements including all COVID protocolEnsuring that quality and cost standards are consistently obtainedCompleting kitchen administrative and human resource dutiesInventory, ordering, and scheduling with service and cost control measures in placeThe Sous Chef should have a positive attitude and be able to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully.
