As the Senior Pricing and Promotion Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to drive revenue growth and market share. You will leverage data-driven insights, market analysis, and consumer behavior trends to optimize pricing structures and promotional initiatives. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical skills, and marketing expertise to maximize the effectiveness of pricing and promotional activities.

Job Responsibilities:

Pricing Strategy Development:

Lead the development of comprehensive pricing strategies aligned with business objectives. Analyze pricing trends and customer insights to identify opportunities for pricing optimization.

Promotional Campaign Management:

Plan, execute, and evaluate promotional campaigns across various channels (online, offline) and customer segments to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness of promotional activities.

Data Analysis and Insights:

Utilize advanced analytical techniques to analyze sales data, pricing metrics, and promotional performance. Generate actionable insights to inform pricing and promotional decisions, including price elasticity analysis and promotional ROI measurement.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Product Management to develop integrated pricing and promotional strategies. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gain buy-in and alignment on pricing and promotional initiatives.

Price Optimization:

Implement pricing optimization methodologies and tools to optimize pricing structures, product bundling, and discount strategies. Analyze pricing elasticity and sensitivity to maximize revenue and profitability. Ideate and execute pricing experiments.

Promotion Effectiveness Evaluation:

Conduct AB experiments to optimize promotional campaigns. Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional campaigns through post-promotion analysis and ROI measurement. Identify key learnings and best practices to improve future promotional initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.

10 years experience in pricing strategy development and promotional campaign management, preferably in consumer goods, retail, or e-commerce industries.

Strong experience with dynamic pricing (the prices should be different every day based on multiple indicators).

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).

Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated ability to translate data insights into actionable pricing and promotional strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Knowledge of pricing methodologies, promotional tactics, and consumer behavior principles. Familiarity with digital marketing channels and e-commerce platforms is a plus.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
